CarbonSpace is developing a satellite-powered platform for monitoring land-based carbon footprint. Our goal is to facilitate the global transition to net-zero, by providing the agriculture, food and forestry industries with an accurate, scalable and cost-effective tool for tracking emissions and sequestrations from grasslands, croplands and forests. The CarbonSpace platform allows driving carbon footprint transparency within supply chains and assessing the impact of sustainability and natural carbon removal programs.
CarbonSpace is a team of professionals in Space, Sustainability and ICT domains spread across Europe and the USA. Our projects are mostly located in Europe, the USA and Latin America.
Tasks
What You’ll Do: Design, architect, and deliver our main product features
Work alongside graphic designers for web design features
See-through a project, from conception to finished feature/product
Design and develop API
Create positive momentum by driving technical innovations while focusing on simplicity, responsiveness, and a great user experience
Set a high bar for software quality, define best practices, and outline and execute technical patterns and solutions
Monitor your feature implementations, metric dashboards, logging, escalations, and alerts
Requirements
Requirements:
Pro-level in Python and React.js
Experience working with GitExperience working in teams
Embrace and follow development best practices like TDD, code reviews, pair programming
Advanced experience with REST API communication
Excellent verbal communication skills (English)Good problem-solving skills

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will work with the product team to develop our main product features, from inception to production. The applications you’ll build run on AWS and require a broad range of skills, including Python and React.js. FastAPI based REST that serves clean and easily navigated UI for greenhouse gas fluxes data visualisation. You tend to stay updated on the latest tech stacks allowing you to draw insights on trends that would make a customer's results or an internal stakeholder's work more efficient and valuable.
You'll be joining a hugely talented, distributed team and will learn and develop your tech skills and business knowledge.

A deep understanding of contemporary Computer Science principles
Work experience in building CI/CD pipelines
Experience with relational and NoSQL database design and implementation
